As some of you know I do not have time to mention all the places I attend to speak but do include some of them here in this blog.
It was a real home run one night in January when I was invited to be the speaker at Garth Rotary Club who hold their monthly meetings at Creigiau Golf Club.
I met up with many old friends, some golf acquaintances and made new friends along the way.
Garth Rotary Club was formed about five years ago and serves Garth, Pentyrch and Creigiau districts as a mixed club.
They do sterling work within the community from "tin on the wall" through to "Santa's Sleigh" at Christmas and a host of dance, speaker and other evenings.
The speech of approximately 45 minutes or so followed an excellent two course meal provided by the new Golf Club caterer within their catchy named Fairways Restaurant area.
It was great fun and a hugely entertaining evening was had by all.
Hats off to Garth Rotary - you are truly added value to the people of your local community.
