"We all enjoyed your talk and one of the main comments was the amount of detail you included.

They also enjoyed the build up where you included details not normally associated with the subject "The Greatest etc....”

I will contact you soon to arrange another talk, such was the enjoyment experienced by one and all on your last visit."

In the first week of July I was contacted by my old friends at one of South Wale's largest Probus Clubs in Pontllanfraith.................which was a little sooner than I expected.

It turned out that their planned speaker had been in an accident and was unable to attend so with only four days to go they were completely stuck.

I am always happy to help out where possible as I am a great believer that we should all try and give something back in life.

Without hesitation I agreed to attend and was delighted to be amongst old friends and it was a rousing reception for I had saved the day.

This time I spoke about a completely different subject to sport.

The theme for the day was words and I spoke of literature, poetry, plays and famous speeches.

This time there was a bit more comedy and humour thrown in which went down very well with a wonderfully receptive audience.

I'm not sure if I'll be back there this year but I have plenty of other venues lined up as the year progresses.

If you are looking for a speaker for your society or event then why not contact me here.
