March and April were very busy with things getting a bit back to normal.
It was a delight to be invited by the Pontllanfraith Probus Club to give an address to the assembled members.
I must say it was a real pleasure to see all members immacutely turned out in blazers and ties and a more friendly crowd would be impossible to imagine.
On this occasion I had to speak for an hour (so about an additional fifteen minutes to normal) to fill a gap until the excellent luncheon was ready.
This speech was about the Greatest Heavyweight Boxer of All Time which was extremely well received.
As usual there was a suitable amount of humour included to keep the topic interesting and fresh.
This speech finishes with an interesting twist which they found fascinating.
Their secretary said this..................
"We all enjoyed your talk and one of the main comments was the amount of detail you included. They also enjoyed the build up where you included details not normally associated with the subject” The Greatest etc....”
I will contact you soon to arrange another talk, such was the enjoyment experienced by one and all on your last visit."
An excellent day out in great company with good food.
